Quick question about the pitch that I hope someone can answer. Over the past few weeks we've been unlucky enough to have 4 home games played at Campbell Park and a friendly against the Geet plus the 1st Ardeer game was called off on the day so that's 6 in just over a month. The pitch has took a battering and is so far past unplayable it's unreal. Nothing you can do when the weathers been so bad and the park gets no time to heal. Question is, who is respinsible for the upkeep of the park? Is it the Council or Saltcoats the club? I know committee members were out rolling the park and putting in a shift just to try get the game played but if the council own the park then surely something should be said/done about it if we can get a few weeks of away games because that park won't be playable for a while now.

Biggest inflict of players for years. Decent names as well big scoular and the lad who played well against the buffs. John Reid class as well. Add this ew initiativto this to those that have stuck by the club and that can only be positive. GIve the new team a chance and the much maligned Committee seem to be backing them with £signs. The last two results although no wins were far from disgraceful so let's see all the moaners get behind the new initiative if in time it all goes wrong them fare enough buts let's give it a chance

thought today's game should not have been on. hard for both teams to play in that weather, saltcoats started the game really well could have been two or three up in the first 20 mins if they could have took there chances. seen the back four changed again hope they can get a settled four soon some good players there. lost two stupid goals from our own mistakes again need to cut them out. good goal from tam when coming on think it was his first touch. saltcoats need to go a we run of games winning get points on the board again 1 point from three home games is not good enough. i know its hard with all the new faces coming in out but hope we can get a settled team on the park soon. com on the vics and goodluck for the rest of the season.

I thought the lads done fantaastic on saturday. Nice to see some young ball players at the club. (Especially at the back) Things have really turned around in the past week or so
Disappointing not to see guys like george bonner (who is on the transfer list) at the club or seems to be unavailable for selection The defense looked as good as its been all season and this week was a 100% improvement from the defense last week.
Well done to everyone concerned and hopefully it can be a turning point for saltcoats finally getting something from a bigger club this season
All of us vics fans have been through a change before when you look at a few years back when we were the whipping boys, get rid of all the dead wood and bring in lads who want to play for the jerseys!
With performances like that then the fans will come back in their dozens to campbell park. Glad you boys are back in saltcoats , we have been without a club in our community for too long.
Come on the saltcoats!

Great result yesterday considering the recent events. Good to see some fresh faces, a few decent lads there. Big improvement from last few games (including ones before xmas). Saltcoats were always looking to play some nice football by keeping it on the deck and were probably the better team overall although Buffs created a few chances as well. The goal from Paul Monan was excellent... lovely bit of skill. If we can build from that and take each game as it comes we wont be far away. Well done to all involved and it was great to see a big crowd back at Campbell park again.

Its the first time in around 20 years that the seasiders have taken any points at all from the buffs.
well done, considering there was 3 trialists on from the start and also 2 trialists then came on off the bench. (5 trialists played according to the match report) , plus john reid only signed before kickoff.
Once the new guys settle and gel together you's will be a right good team!
Good luck for 3rd or 4th place because the buffs are going back up! :-)

well done to all involed at saltcoats today, can't mind the last time saltcoats took anything of the buffs, ano it was a draw but great turn around in a week, players and coaching staff must be really pleased with today after what happened lastweek. great to see some local faces back in the team today aswell. take nothing away from the glasgow ones aswell as we might not have had a team if they did'nt stick by us, well done lads. would like to thank tam mc snr and the rest of the committee for there hard work to. taking on from the two eddy's is a tough ask as they did a great job. think saltcoats can look forward again after eveything that has went on on recent months. goodluck and looking forward to the next game already.
